WORLD IPV6 LAUNCH is 6 June 2012 – The Future is Forever

Major websites are permanently enabling IPv6 starting 6 June 2012 at 00:00 UTC on their main websites: www.facebook.com, www.google.com, www.bing.com, and www.yahoo.com will all be reachable over IPv6 from that time.

In the run up to World IPv6 Day on the 6th June, Qube has completed enabling dual stack IPv6 connectivity throughout our core networks in the UK, USA and Switzerland.

The Qube website is now fully IPv6 enabled and we will be participating in the event on 6 June. Network carriers, large ISP’s and website operators around the world have been working to ensure that they are IPv6 ready on the day.

Many of the largest websites and web services on the Internet will be joining the growing list of IPv6 enabled companies to ensure that this year’s event marks the true start of the IPv6 Internet.

Please contact to your Qube Account Manager or Qube Support about to ask about IPv6 connectivity for you organization.
